you must be 21 or older.
Unmasque is for adults 21 and over. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 21 years of age. If we discover that a user is under 21, we will immediately terminate their account without notice.
one real person, one account.
Your profile must be a genuine representation of you — your real photos, your honest answers. No fake profiles. No impersonation. No creating accounts on behalf of someone else.
one connection at a time.
The product is designed around depth, not volume. You will have one connection at a time. This is intentional.
your content belongs to you.
You own what you upload. By using the app you give us a limited license to store and display it solely to run the service. That license ends when you delete it or your account.
no screenshotting another person's content.
The photos, voice notes, messages, and reflections of other users belong to them. Do not screenshot, record, or share their content outside the app. Violating this may result in immediate account termination and legal liability.
treat people with respect.
No harassment, threats, hate speech, or abusive behavior. No unsolicited explicit content. We take reports seriously and act on them.
we can close your account.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, pose a safety risk to others, or if we are required to by law. You may close your account at any time from Settings.
no guarantees.
We cannot guarantee you will receive a match within a specific timeframe, that a connection will become a relationship, or that other users are who they say they are. Unmasque is not a background check service.
california law governs.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from your use of Unmasque will be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
